We were excited to welcome the Diploma in Science students to our Air Quality Monitoring Station (AQMS) at Lundu Sarawak as part of their Mini Science Project (FSG 311). Their visit highlighted the importance of integrating real-world experiences into education, especially in addressing today’s environmental challenges.
Key activities during their visit included:
-Understanding on how air quality impacts health and ecosystems.
-Exposure to air monitoring tools and techniques.
-Briefing the data collection, analysis, and reporting process as in the AQMS system.
Seeing their passion for learning and their curiosity about environmental science was inspiring. Visits like these remind us of supporting the next generation of scientists and innovators.
